Playground Games have posted a detailed look at progression in Forza Horizon 6, explaining how

players will level up throughout the racing game when it launches later this year. Playground said that progression was tuned to feel rewarding both individually and across multiplayer activities, with several different systems feeding into each other. Players will see the return of the well-known Wristband progression system as the main progression route through the Horizon Festival.

Meanwhile Stamps connect to discovery and exploration within Japan, while Horizon Play is an entirely separate progression track for players focused on online competition. Each of these systems are designed to reward players however they choose to play, be it racing or drifting in events, exploring the open world or playing online with friends.
